Optipix [MAC]

Optipix is a suite of plug-ins for enhancing digital photographs. Whether you have a digital camera, film scanner, or flatbed scanner, you will find Optipix to be an invaluable tool for improving the appearance of your photographs. Optipix 3 is a suite of tools designed with the digital photographer in mind. The core plug-ins in the Optipix suite solve common problems that photographers face, with an emphasis on integrating into an automated workflow.

• Auto Contrast: Our Auto Contrast tool provides substantial improvements over the version included in Photoshop, including a Zone system integration and precise control over the midpoint of the image histogram.
• Blend Exposures: Our acclaimed tool for blending two images to improve contrast.
• Detail Sharpener: A revolutionary sharpening that improves textures and fine detail without oversharpening edges.
• Interactive Interpolation: Quite possibly the best tool available for enlarging your images.
• Refocus: Removes blurriness and softness without sharpening artefacts.
• JPEG Cleaner: Removes the "JPEG blockies" from your image.

What's new in Optipix 3

We've made a substantial changes in Optipix since version 2. We've included 5 all-new plug-ins, Interactive Interpolation, Refocus, Grain Maker, JPEG Cleaner, and Select JPEG Edges, and we've made substantial improvements to the speed, consistency, and usability of all the dialogs in the suite. Several of our slower plug-ins have received speed improvements as well.
